Seals and sealing systems for mining

Merkel supplies compact sealing systems that are especially reliable in sealing with high pressures, especially also with static pressures. Long maintenance intervals and challenging conditions, such as occur especially with tunnel-boring machines, are moreover unproblematic application parameters for our systems. The individual elements are optimally coordinated with one another in material and functionality, since all seals are developed as package solutions and delivered in one step. By selecting materials specifically coordinated to meet these requirements, a very high level of stability under pressure is achieved that ensures long service life.
