Special features:
The seals are loaded both in a stroke movement and also in a combined rotary lift movement. The operating pressure with stroke movements is specified as 25 MPa. With rotary movements and rotary lift movements, the pressure of 2 MPs is applied for at most 5 secs.
- With the coordinated geometry of the OMS-DR-HB main seal, both the requirements from the stroke movement regarding the seal effect and stability under pressure and those of the rotary movement regarding undesirable relative movement between the PTFE profile ring and the leader element are taken into account.
- With combined rotary lift movement, in contrast to pure stroke movement, additional friction energy in the form of heat is brought into the system. As material for the leader element of the OMS-DR-HB main seal and also for the PT1 DR-HB wiper, FPM is used here due to its more favourable temperature range.
